Would love to try the J. Herbin ink - any colour... I am the editor of a calligraphy newsletter/journal and we are focussing on inks and papers this issue. Hope you can help

John

I came across J. Herbin Ink rather accidentally a couple of years ago. I came to hate using ball-point pens anymore and decided to see if I could get a nice fountain pen. So, I went looking. After succeeding in that endeavour, I went looking for some additional colours of ink besides the locally available blue and black. I visited a pen shop in Toronto and they had all the J. Herbin colours, so I bought a couple of bottles on a whim. What I like about this ink is that the colours are really "clean" and seem to have a brightness to them. There are enough colours available that you can find a suitable colour for any occasion, season or whim. The ink flows well and makes hand-writing "worthwhile" once again. One's writing takes on character and a feeling of personality. There is a J. Herbin ink to suit anyone's desire.
